The Sunshine Valley is a recreational paradise. If the scenery doesn't get your heart racing, the golfing, hiking, fishing, swimming, biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, tobogganing, and the hundreds of other activities right at your doorstep should do the trick. For walkers and serious hikers, the longest recreational trail in the world, the Trans Canada Trail, passes right through town on its way to Victoria, Halifax or Inuvik.
